Introduction
Annotation is another word for making notes about your work. We prefer to see it as you telling your story of learning by explaining your ideas/intentions and evaluating your work throughout a project. The process of annotating is a form of evaluation and helps you to come to a deeper understanding through the process of writing. It is It is a skill that the qualification board specifically assess within AO3 Record. It will also allow you to explain your ideas and how they have developed (AO1 Develop). Annotating the work of others When you look at the work of others, you are analysing their ideas/intentions, working processes, context and ideas behind their work. When writing about the work of others, you should use the research and analysis framework that is available on the web page 'Research & Analysis'. |
